Matthew White - Inclusive Design

Matthew White studied mechanical engineering at Birmingham University before completing Industrial Design Engineering at the Royal College of Arts (RCA).

As a research associate for the Helen Hamlyn Centre, Matthew won the "Design for Our Future Selves" competition in 2000.

B&Q's partnership with White resulted in the development of a new range of power tools specifically designed to meet the needs of older users.

Matthew is currently an independent Design and Engineering Consultant, based near Gatwick, UK.
